Leather Pants to Woo Consumers in New "Why a Designer" Ad

New, 3 comments

The Editor at Large offers a sneak peek of the Decorative Furnishings Association's forthcoming "Why a Designer" ad, which depicts interior designer Shari Markbreiter (left) as she doles out advice to what appears to be a clueless homeowner. The campaign, debuting in the December/January editions of publications including House Beautiful, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, New York Spaces, and Cottages & Gardens, is part of the DFA's plan to woo consumers into spending money on interior design services and home furnishings. The siren song? Why, baggy leather pants, of course.
