As you may know at this point, on the day Curbed National launched, we messengered dollhouses—as well a dowry of goods and accessories—to six preeminent shelter publications in a scheme dubbed Operation Dollhouse. Five of six played along, decorating the dollhouse, photographing the finished project, and sending us the photos to publish; HGTV even opted in late and crafted a Lilliputian garden. This extravaganza produced construction sites and bluesy decoupage, Dorothy Draper hallways and mini Rietveld chairs, urban nanofarming and verdant landscaping: if nothing else, Op.Doll. participants have proven, yet again, that there's no one way to live well. (Need a full recap? Click on each pub. title: Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Lonny, Elle Decor, Dwell, and HGTV.)
Because a little healthy competition never hurt anyone, we're asking you to decide, dear reader, which of the six tiny abodes should take the cake—or the cookies, that is. The publication with the most votes at 6 p.m. EST tomorrow, Fri. Oct. 15, will win an assortment of delicious treats from NYC sweet spot Momofuku Milk Bar, to be delivered early next week. Plus: Complete. Utter. Phenomenal. Glory. Let the games begin.
