Our sister site Curbed NY has just reported on the downtown NYC loft that once belonged to hip-hop mogul Damon Dash—the very same one that slid into foreclosure in late July (and was auctioned to a financier for $5.5 million). Now, the 5,142-square-foot apartment is back on the market for $7.995M, which is, coincidentally, what Dash once tried to sell it for, even though he had paid only $3.85M in the first place. The listing bills the floorplan as "mansion-scaled," with 20-foot ceilings, an open walnut kitchen and a master suite that's "Joan Crawford-worthy." It's a good thing Crawford's libation of choice was vodka—up to a quart a day, in fact—because red wine would just be a disaster here.
