Bauhaus Version of Prefab Housing: Customizable Floorplans, More!

New, 3 comments

Prefab housing certainly has a bottom-of-the-barrel kind of rap, but Luxist sheds light on Huf Haus, a German company that's attempting to bring cachet to this sort of construction. The build time's a week and price tag's $10M, which amounts to some insane amount of dollars spent per minute. As for the hardwood flooring and granite countertops—well, they should be a given. With credentials like this, perhaps the brainiac firm should refocus their efforts and attempt master the vaunted notion of, say, sensitivity to siting.
