The lead cover line of the October 2010 issue of Architectural Digest shouts "Great Houses," and great they most certainly are. This month, the magazine veers away from its signature celebrity-focused coverage and publishes, instead, an uncharacteristically large volume of modernist projects in places as expected as SoHo and unexpected as Santa Fe.
