Lonny Singlehandedly Saves Print Industry

Major shocker: Lonny Magazine, an online-only shelter magazine that premiered last year, is now offering its October/November issue in print. Reaction to the news has been overall positive, but we do detect traces of hesitation among the magazine's faithful readership: "Have you ever considered making a print ready pdf available for download (for a fee) that the buyer than can print at home?" implores one commenter. Says another: "I understand the high cost due to printing, but sadly it's well out of my price range." Chalk it up to cultural lag. [Lonny Blog]
