That drumbeat you hear? Our armies, scouring lands far and near for open positions within Curbed Network. At present, we're hiring an associate editor for this site, Curbed National, and an editor for the forthcoming Curbed D.C. Which means now is the time for editors who will make the magic happen to step forward onto the dancefloor.
Curbed National Associate Editor: What we do want to see is a personality that borders on obsessive—about interior design, at the very least—and a Rolodex that would make Margaret Russell blow smoke. You revere Billy Baldwin—not the actor—and would happily journey across state lines for the Design Within Reach warehouse sale. The ideal candidate shall conceive and produce sprightly, compelling interiors-focused features for the site on a per diem basis and hobnob considerably with the design cognoscenti. This is a freelance gig with commensurate pay; you'll be able to work from anywhere you want so long as you keeps an ear close to ground for all things design. If you think you fit the bill, drop an email to email@example.com with a brief description about yourself and a paragraph or two about why you're interested in the job.
Curbed D.C. Editor: Curbed is looking to hire a Washington D.C. resident that's mainlined into the soul of the city's real estate and neighborhoods universe to take on the job of Curbed D.C. editor. This is a freelance gig with commensurate pay; you'll be able to work from anywhere you want so long as it keeps your ear close to ground for all things architectural, residential, and ridiculous. If you think you fit the bill, drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a brief description about yourself and a paragraph or two about why you're interested in the job. If you've got a blog, please include a link to it as well.
Note for both: No resumes, please. If we like what we see, we'll be in touch quickly. Thanks.
