Before Thanksgiving, we showed you maximalist holiday decor at its best—gross 'n' gawdy tabletops that could not possibly be further from the stylish, restrained pieces shown in the photos above. They're the work of designer Andrew Corrie, whose Canvas line of home furnishings and accessories recently moved into a brand-new NYC flagship, and who has generously offered to give one lucky Curbed National reader a ginormous package of gorgeous tabletop products.
We're looking for decorating war stories from Thanksgivings (or Christmases, or Hanukkahs) present or past, tales from the tabletop trenches, lighting gone wrong, centerpiece SOS. Think: Clark Griswold times 10. Email 'em to national@curbed.com; we'll publish the funniest here and award the brightest and bestest a package of: six hand-blown Syrian glass tumblers, six bamboo placemats, six sets of sparkly gold cutlery, and one hand-blown Syrian glass carafe, all by Canvas. Because, lord knows, if anyone needs this stuff, it's you. And while you're likely boggled down by a lingering food coma, it's time to get cracking: the contest ends at 9 a.m. EST on Monday, Dec. 6.
