Sword Wall Decor Shows the Plebes What's What

Head of the Harbor, N.Y. is a tiny village on Long Island's North Shore that has some 1,500 residents, and we're assuming that one of them is, in fact, head of the harbor. It's a locale name fitting of this estate recently featured on Luxist; within the 14-room manse are elements that really do scream "head" of something. For instance, if you walked into a home theater that had swords on the ceiling and walls and a suit of armor tucked into a corner, you'd know immediately who was boss. An ice cream parlor downstairs is meant to keep the commoners at bay, no doubt, by sedating them with the sort of sugary stuff regular people eat. Conquest comes with a price, though: $8.2M.
