Dr. Phil's Decorators' Lawsuit Put on Hold

New, 1 comment

TV talkshow host Dr. Phil (McGraw) and his wife, Robin, have been embroiled in messy legal affairs since they were sued by decorators Deborah Flattery and Brynja McGrady in March 2009 for $665K for what the defendants claim are unpaid interior design fees and punitive damages for not mentioning their skincare line on air. Now, that lawsuit has been put on hold because McGrady is bankrupt. Keep in mind that in 2008, Flattery was hospitalized with exhaustion and dehydration because she was required "to work more than 20 hours a day to meet Robin McGraw's remodeling deadlines." Tough break, guys, tough break. [NYDN]
