This just in to the Curbed National tip line: Elle Decor has plans to move exactly .3 miles due east, from its current home at the Hachette-Filipacchi building (1271 Broadway) to the Time & Life Building (1271 6th Avenue) in NYC. The new address, however similar it looks to the old one, means that the floor that ED once shared with the now-defunt Metropolitan Home will soon sit empty—a reminder of the days of yore, perhaps. In any event, it'll certainly be a new start for a publication that's in the midst of more than one shakeup. In related news: Allison Mezzafonte, Shelterpop's senior home & garden editor, is joining the crew as executive editor of Elledecor.com.
