New-World Mediterranean Faces Old-World Identity Crisis

The bathroom above may not be pretty, but a pretty penny it does indeed cost: $32.8M, exactly, for this 30,000-square-foot wonder in Bradbury, Calif. The dizzying interiors have been "decorated professionally," apparently, while the sheer quantity of columns outside puts the Acropolis to shame, despite the fact they were erected in 2010. Something tells us there was neither a pitch-and-putt golf course nor a wine room with conveyor belt in the original plans for the Parthenon.
