Penthouse Got You Down? Enter Brad Ford.

In today's installment of selling off penthouses, the Journal has a story on the life and times of the one at One Jackson Square, in downtown NYC, which was rescued from its bare white walls and 5,695 square feet of emptiness by interior designer Brad Ford. Among Ford's terrific touches: barstools topped with plush Mongolian lamb's fur; an ottomon holstered in zebra skin; and a Mira Nakashima table that's valued at $200K. Much of the on-loan furnishings and artwork can be bought for a grand total of more than $1.5M. [WSJ]
