Michael Jordan's New Dining Table Has Exactly 32,292 Holes

New, 3 comments

In August, former NBA superstar Michael Jordan bought a $3.15M condo in Charlotte to have a home base closer to the Bobcats, which he purchased for $275M earlier in the year. How did he commemorate his dream of finally becoming an NBA club owner? Why, by enlisting D.C.-based metal sculptor Michael Enn Sirvet to craft a dining table with 32,292 holes—one for every point Jordan scored during his long, record-shattering career on the court. Jordan was apparently so thrilled with the nine-by-three-foot creation, made of aircraft-grade aluminum, that "he flipped out. He was speechless." [Insert cliched expression about Sirvet's slam dunk here.]
