Here's Yet Another Reason to Spend a Year in Provence...

Today the Wall Street Journal presents a slideshow of Le Canadel, a 19th-century home in Marseilles that was restored in 1993 by architect Bruno Lafourcade. With formal reception rooms, an outdoor dining area, and six bedroom suites—not to mention the stunning cook's kitchen, above—this seems like just the place to hunker down and finally start perfecting that bouillabaisse. $20M is the going rate for a spectacular slice of southern France.
