This Tudor Revival Is Apparently Designer Showcase Perfection

Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Mill Neck, N.Y.
Price: $5,999,999
The Skinny: In 2010, The Mill Neck Family of Organizations, a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for the deaf community on Long Island, hosted the annual Mill Neck Designers' Showcase to raise money for the cause. So, we were mighty disappointed when at least one area broker started using the "Designer Showcase" mantle to hawk their own wares. This 1916 Tudor Revival mansion might sit on almost four acres—and include a swimming pool, tennis court, and expansive terraces—but it's also been sitting on the market since late 2007. This questionable new marketing tactic is a strange choice, because if there's anything holding this classic estate back, it's the odd decor. In fact, this place could use a designer showcase. Dress up those 20,000 square feet and it just might see a sale.
