Normally we'd consider a pair of garden shears just lying in the corner a pretty creepy addition to a listing photo, but not this time. Nope. That's because the spiked ceiling, like something out of a Victorian version of Saw, stole our attention first. The 1926 cottage in the Swan Lake neighborhood has other visually jarring features, like an unfinished roof over the patio, a partially-tiled dated kitchen, and a purple paint scheme in the bathroom. Thankfully, the price, $165K, and that looker of a vaulted living room make this a reasonable target for rehabilitation.
