Donald Trump Unloads "Gorgeous" and "Amazing" Golf Estate

New, 1 comment

While the House that Donald Built—this time, overlooking the ocean on the grounds of the Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.—was not met with nearly the same vitriol as the developer's recently completed golf course clubhouse in Scotland, it took more than a year to finally sell. And sell it has; Curbed LA has discovered that the five-bedroom, nine-bathroom, 11,000-square-foot house, which hit the market in June 2010, has just closed escrow at $7.15M, some $5M under the initial $12M ask. They also notice that the brokerbabble is full of superlatives such as "dream," "amazing," "gorgeous," "coveted," "work of art," "opulent," and "rivaled by none." Just to mention a few. Interesting that someone with exactly a bazillion home lines doesn't have more decorated listing photos.
