Joe Paterno Wire

News that former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno sold his Pennsylvania house to his wife for $1 plus "love and affection" in July is sweeping the Internet today. Paterno's attorney tells the Times that the move was part of a larger estate-planning overhaul. It cost him $57.50 in administrative fees to transfer the property, which the couple bought for $58K in 1969 and is now worth $594,484.40. [NYT]
