Uncovered: The Atlanta Mansion of a Home Depot Co-Founder

Thanks to one unique piece of faux Pop Art and some sleuthing, our compatriots over at Curbed Atlanta have uncovered the listing for Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus's estate. There's no shortage of glass, stone, and tile in the sprawling post-modern mansion, and chances are Marcus got an insider discount. One early commenter declared "I guess money can't buy taste," but we'd rather say "money can't buy taste at Home Depot." The $3.9M price tag might be high for Atlanta, but compared to Bernie Marcus's $1.5B fortune, it's a little less than we would have expected. Can we apply Home Depot coupons to the purchase price?
