The Skinny: Located on the coveted shores of Lake Austin, home to some of the Texas capital's most expensive homes, this 8,400-square-foot beige brick sprawler has the space to keep up with its neighbors, but, presumably because it's a rental, the interiors are a little short on furniture. Luckily there are plenty of built-in amenities to satisfy the $12K-per-month tenants, including a lakefront swimming pool and hot tub, two-slip dock with boat lifts, Portuguese tile and rosewood cabinets in the kitchen, and 23-foot ceilings in the living room. Stocking these capacious interiors with enough furniture to make them feel homey would be an expensive proposition and given the house is up for sale for $3.45M, that's certainly an added incentive to purchase.
