Renting This NYC Townhouse is Like Living in a Music Video

New, 6 comments

Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: New York, N.Y.
Price: $100,000 per month
The Skinny: We don't usually feature rentals on the House of the Day, but this majorly-expensive, utterly-enormous townhouse rental in NYC's trendy Soho neighborhood fits the bill nicely, especially considering the rent totals $1.2M per year. We've featured plenty of houses on these pages that one could purchase for such a sum, but those didn't include a deep indoor swimming pool with viewing portals, a huge living room with 29-foot ceilings, or 13,000-square-feet in one of Manhattan's most expensive neighborhoods. Oddly for all that space, there are only three bedrooms and three baths, but this was never about practicality now was it? At least you'll be living on the set of the Beyonce music video "Halo," filmed here in 2008.
