Tasmania, the triangular island off the southeast coast of Australia, is better known for that pesky carnivorous marsupial, the Tasmanian Devil, than for its stylish architecture. Set on a 30-acre plot purchased for just $80K, the $370K house, designed by a college buddy of the owner, has the look of something that cost many millions.
