Devil's in the Details for this Tasmanian Mountaintop Home

Tasmania, the triangular island off the southeast coast of Australia, is better known for that pesky carnivorous marsupial, the Tasmanian Devil, than for its stylish architecture. That's not to say it can't produce a stunning super-modern home, as this glassy contemporary overlooking Mount Wellington can attest. Set on a 30-acre plot purchased for just $80K, the $370K house, designed by a college buddy of the owner, has the look of something that cost many millions. For more photos of the three-bedroom stunner, head over to the New York Times.
