Soon, You May be Able to Spend the Weekend in Outer Space

As far as unusual rentals go, there are crazy rentals of this world and then, it seems, even crazier rentals beyond. Russian aerospace firm Orbital Technologies has grand plans to build the universe's first-ever outer-space hotel and open it for business by 2016. Four years and counting until having a choice between vertical and horizontal beds (not to mention some delicious evaporated meals) means paying $165K for two days, never mind the cost of actually getting there on a Soyuz rocket (another $410K). Not to be nitpick-y, but the accommodations at the so-called Commercial Station Station don't exactly look comfortable.
