Hotel in the Turkish Countryside Offers 6th-Century Delights

New, 1 comment

Today HGTV looks at the Cappodacian village of Urgup, Turkey, where there's a 30-room retreat that was built sometime right after the Roman Empire fell. Carved into the mountainside, the Yunak Evleri Cave Hotel offers 30 cave rooms that are essentially untouched, save for the hardwood floors and kilim rugs. Also on the grounds, oddly enough, is a "19th-century Greek Mansion."
