Better dust off those Louis chairs! As recently reported, Meredith Corp. is gearing up to launch Trad Home, a digital version of Traditional Home the Elder. They've tapped Lonny cofounders Michelle Adams and Patrick Cline to guest edit under Traditional Home editor in chief Ann Omvig Maine—as in find projects, produce photoshoots, and consult on the design direction, all in hopes of creating a product that appeals to a younger reader. At a preview dinner in NYC last night, Adams and Traditional Home publisher Beth Brenner introduced the 20 emergent and/or au courant designers who earned a spot in the inaugural issue, which will publish in mid April. These so-called "new traditionals" help convey the brand's overall message: trad is rad. To boot: the take-home press package was filled with toile de jouy-patterned accessories. But of course!
