Cheesehead Homeland Offers Ritzier Options For Super Bowl MVP

With Super Bowl XLV decided and the Green Bay Packers headed home to celebrate, it might be time for stars like Aaron Rodgers to abandon the monastic lifestyle we examined last week and move into some new digs with a few more creature comforts. So please, Mr., err, Rodgers, consider this a beautiful day to change your neighborhood. After the jump, we've got one in the city, one in the country, and one with absolutely everything an all-American playboy might need, including the space to keep the rumored rotating cast of girlfriends out of the public eye.

Set on 48 acres of former cattle land just outside of Green Bay, this estate (above) has plenty of bells and whistles to amuse the most discerning Lombardi trophy winner. The 4,000-square-foot main house, built in none-too-stylish beige brick, is complemented by a 3,500-square-foot garage with space for 14 cars, an auto lift, and a well-stocked bar. But the real impressive part is the Olympic-sized indoor riding ring, which, unless ol' Aaron is the equestrian type, could be converted into the venue for Packers spring training. Then he could get back to practicing in his back yard, just like the old days. Not surprisingly, that sort of nostalgia and convenience comes at a steep price: $3M.

? Back in town, there's an old-time mansion that might be just the thing for a budding dynasty. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this eight-bedroom, five-bath brick house is described in the listing as "chateauesque." While that sounds a little too fancy French for our pigskin prince, the price sure isn't. For just $649K, a piece of Green Bay history could live in this piece of Green Bay history.

? If it's peace and quiet Rodgers is looking for—or if the 100,000 people of Green Bay start to get a little nosy about their star—he can always skip down to this secluded getaway near Lake Winnebago, some 30 miles south of Green Bay. Set amid towering pines on 35 acres, the 5,800-square-foot post-and-beam home enjoys 5,000 feet of lake frontage. The price for privacy? $2.15M.
