Assembling Ikea Furniture: It's Nearly Impossible to Get it Up

Those who cower at the S-wrench, you're not alone! British middle-age punk-rock group Punks Not Dad has immortalized the feelings of inadequacy one feels at the prospect of successfully assembling flat-pack furniture in a totally crazed new music video. In it, they make a trip to Anarkea, a fictitious store with a logo and catalog font suspiciously similar to a certain real-life Swedish furnishings chain. Welsh actress Lisa Rogers plays the female lead—in this photo here, she luxuriates against a RATTLI headboard surrounded by SCRATCHI pillows. Amazingly, the spoof and the real-life commercial that Ikea Germany wanted to air in 2005 are similar in their level of mania.
