Marijuana Dispensary Wins Major International Design Award

The International Interior Design Association has just announced that the Sands Studio-designed San Francisco Patient and Resource Center has won the 19th Annual Will Ching Design Competition, which pays tribute to commercial design by small firms. You may recall SPARC, a pot dispensary with "vaguely bong-shaped lights made of borosilicate science glass drip," from a T Magazine blog post last year; then again, you may not, because, well, you were high. In any event, IIDA also named the six winners of the 38th Annual Interior Design Competition, and photos of those non-reefer-related projects are featured below.
