This weekend the Times runs a terrific long profile of Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, the Pritzker Prize winner with far less flash than his starchitect peers. “Normally architects render a service,” he says. “They implement what other people want. This is not what I do. I like to develop the use of the building together with the client, in a process, so that as we go along we become more intelligent.” Click over for the full interview. [NYT]
