A man named Tim Thaler may very well have revolutionized apartment kitchens with a nifty contraption that allows him to raise and lower his kitchen island with a flick of his iPhone. We're not sure if he geeked out because he actually needs more space—the kitchen shown in his video looks adequately sized—or just for fun. Either way, it's awesome. Perhaps that "Home of the Future" should take notes!
