Watch an Eames Lounger Being Made Meticulously By Hand

New, 2 comments

Co.Design has tracked down a terrific video that proves, once and for all, that watching a chair being made is not at all like watching paint dry. Vitra, one of the two companies that's licensed to produce the Eames Lounge Chair, has just released a fascinating video about how the iconic furniture that has become as staple of fancy offices is made. There's no music, but viewers will hear the sounds of every screw being screwed, every stitch being stitched, and every cut being cut. Truly phenomemal SFW design porn at its best.
