New, 1 comment

Britain's Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority has spent nearly $475KMof taxpayers' money on swanky office furniture for their London headquarters, reports The Daily Mail today. Here's the breakdown, which works out to about $6,943 per staff member: 14 'relaxer' loungers ($750 each), six stools priced at $428 each, a $1,352 table and 71 seats for visitors ($391 each). Ironically, the whole point of the IPSA is to monitor the expenses incurred by Members of Parliament. Job well done, guys!
