After what will undoubtedly be lavish royal nuptials, Prince William and Kate Middleton are expected to move into a humble home in North Wales. They've just hired interior designer Kenneth Bordewick as their interiors guy—Bordewick is a Beverly Hills decorator to the stars whose client roster includes Mariah Carey and the late Michael Jackson. He's also polo buddies with William's dad, Prince Charles, and designed the library at London's royal Clarence House. "I don't know what they're going to do yet in terms of design," he said, "but they want it to be casual and contemporary. It won't be classical or old-fashioned at all." It would appear, then, that the royal project would be quite a deviation for Bordewick's standard faux-finished fare—case in point is the portfolio samples above. Bloody hell—"borde" we are not!
