Today WWD catches up with Pilar Guzman, who was unveiled yesterday as Vanessa Holden's successor at the helm of Martha Stewart Living. Guzman is the only major shelter editor who hails from a blogging background—she launched Momfilter after Conde Nast's Cookies folded—and notes that Living' site should at once supplement the magazine and pull in relevant stuff from the blogosphere. “There are hundreds of people making these blogs, which are labors of love and it’s really my job as editor to keep my ear to the ground with various beats,” she said.
