Primm and Not-So-Proper Compound Tempted Michael Jackson

Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Las Vegas, Nev.
Price: $16,500,000
The Skinny: This dramatically styled desert retreat has been lingering on the market for years now, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been interest. Back in 2007, Michael Jackson had allegedly made plans to purchase the compound and dub it "Wonderland," but since MJ's death, potential buyers haven't satisfied the casino cash-rich owners. The Primm family fortune is estimated at more than $500M, so the carrying costs on a spread of this size probably aren't an issue, and it's got to be hard to walk away from amenities like a 5,000-bottle wine cellar, underground shooting range, eight-stall stables, auto showroom with car wash and gas station, and a guest suite tucked behind a manmade waterfall. Still, the listing isn't shy about the development potential of this decked out property, claiming 10 lots could fit on this stretch of coveted Tomiyasu Lane.
