Hermès Booth in Milan Uses Starchitect-Approved Cardboard

Today Wallpaper* takes a look at the Hermès installation that's currently on view at the Milan furniture fair, a minimalist space fashioned from cardboard/paper tubes by architects Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines. The booth, showcasing a bunch of re-released iconic pieces by Jean-Michel Frank, also features the luxury-goods firm's new line of fabrics and wallpapers with Dedar, along with office and dining room furniture by Enzo Mari and living room furniture by Antonio Citterio. Let's just say the new collection is un peu more sophisticated than that line of upcycled furnishings Hermès plans to unveil in May.
