Watch a Bay Window Turn Into a Garage in the City by the Bay

New, 2 comments

What's a city-dweller to do when his/her city has a nearly impossible parking situation? Make like San Francisco resident Corey McMills, who's so engineering-inclined he thought to turn his bay window into a garage. The end result: a historic facade that's in keeping with building laws, and room to park what we're only assuming is a plug-in hybrid, electric, or biofuel-powered car. Oh, and the firm that completed the work is named Beausoleil Architects, which tranlates, appropriately, to "beautiful sun." Gosh, we love San Francisco. The video follows the jump.
