Curtis Stone Sinks Teeth Into Pricey California Contemporary

Is there anything sexier than a man who can cook? What about a man who buys expensive real estate? We certainly know that Curtis Stone falls into one of those categories—he just plunked down for some new L.A. digs! (As for the other category, please consult our friends over at Eater National for their take on things.)

Stone, who's fast becoming the poster boy of NBC Universal food-centric reality shows (America's Next Great Restaurant and Top Chef Masters), spent $3.1M on the Paul Hinckley-designed contemporary on Lake Hollywood. The interiors feature more than 4,200 square feet, six bedrooms, and a living room with a vaulted, Douglas fir-clad ceiling. As for the kitchen, surely where Stone and actress girlfriend Lindsay Price will spend most of their time, it's from upscale German manufacturer Bulthaup and boasts steel countertops and walnut cabinetry.
