Philip Johnson, Frank Gehry, and FLW Now Star in Classic Fairytale

Illustrations: Steven Guarnaccia

Illustrator Steven Guarnaccia has cleverly imagined what The Three Little Pigs would look like if seen through an architectural lens. In Guarnaccia's telling, (left to right) Philip Johnson builds a house of glass, Frank Gehry, a house of scraps, and Frank Lloyd Wright, a house of stone and concrete, until the Big Bag Wolf huffs and puffs Fallingwater down. Meanwhile, in the revamped Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Papa Bear's chair is made by Scottish designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and Goldilocks finds porridge all the more enjoyable when eaten out of an Eva Zeisel bowl.
