Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Hickory Creek, Texas
Price: $35,000,000
The Skinny: The good people over at the Zillow Blog took notice when Champ d'Or, a 120-acre estate outside of Dallas, had it's price slashed by 50 percent. The seller has apparently abandoned high aspirations, settling instead on a mere $35M. The crowning glory of the property is the 35,000-square-foot main house, based on Vaux-le-Vicomte, a 17th-century chateau on the outskirts of Paris. More replicas found their way inside the six-bedroom monstrosity: a tea room modeled after NYC's Tavern on the Green, a dressing room in the style of Chanel's Paris outpost, and a ballroom fit for a nouveau Versailles. We have to say we have a hard time approving of this hodge-podge of appropriation, but then again, we can't afford it—even on sale.
