Kate Middleton's Childhood Home On the Market for $742K

If that royal wedding-themed fridge is already looking out of place, here's just the setting to really make it shine: the childhood home of Kate Middleton in a village some 60 miles west of London. The home, where Middleton lived until age 13, is currently on the market for $742K and will be auctioned off to one lucky bidder at the end of May. Middleton's family sold West View, as the estate is called, in 1995, but the listing agent says it's pretty much the same, complete with the playroom where a young Kate spent her early years. "It’s always possible that someone will buy it as an investment," he says, "because if Kate becomes queen someone might even want to open it as a museum one day and charge people to see it."
