A not-that-exciting-looking 18th-century porcelain vase fetched some $69.3M at auction last year, turning it into one of 2010's priciest pieces on the block. If that sounds too good to be true, it is: apparently the billionaire buyer who has refused to pay for the past six months has just put down the first $3.2M and plans to pony up the rest "within days."
