Globe Trotting

Just unveiled by architect Steven Holl: the U-shaped plan for the Doctorate's Building for the Schools of Law and Economic Sciences at the National University of Colombia in Bogotá. It's got offices, lab space, classrooms, a cafe, and a 600-seat auditorium, plus “new porous routes of movement” that connect the entries and central axis to the outdoor space. Holl, of course, is no stranger to porous anything. [Arch Record; Curbed NY]
