All Plaid Out in the Home of an AD Top 100 Designer

Since we featured this DC carriage house—owned and designed by former Architectural Digest Top 100 designer Anthony Browne—back in November, the price has been chopped by $750K, right down to $2.75M. That's not exactly unexpected, given the horrible interiors, we were stunned when our comrades at Curbed DC dug up some more photos of the, um, "unique" interior. In the fall, the listing didn't include any snaps of the private spaces, and now it's clear why. One bedroom is awash in plaid, another looks like it has fake windows pasted to the wall, and a bathroom is walled in crass grey marble. Phew!
