"Deep Throat" Apartment Once Owned by Bob Woodward For Sale

The 500-square-foot studio now known as the Deep Throat apartment is on the market for a mere $215K, The Washingtonian has reported. It was here where Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward put a flowerpot on his balcony to signify his meetings with "Deep Throat," the informant (later revealed as FBI associate director Mark Felt) whose intel lead directly to the Watergate scandal. "I would love for someone who’s come to Washington early in their career to buy it and fix it up,” current owner Chris Blandamer said. “If you’re interested in politics or journalism, what better apartment?” Careful, though, this slice of Nixonian history comes without kitchen appliances or cabinetry—"This is a shell and ready for your creativity," boasts the listing.
