Today the first-ever House Beautiful iPad app hits iTunes shelves ($4.99). Riffing on the magazine's hardcover "bookazine," the app, called 500+ Favorite Paint Colors, makes the horrific process of choosing wall colors actually tolerable. There's a way-too-fun-to-spin color river, a color personality quiz, a function that lets users see select colors (labeled by brand name and number) in a room, and a whole bunch of different ways to sort.
