Quaint Cottage Will Entice You Into Buying An Old House

In this series, I will showcase a spectacular room or outdoor area each day, and give you five reasons why I love it.

1: Well, today, it's actually "Photos I Like." I couldn't just pick one room of this house, I love it all. Why? Becuase it feels very cozy and comfortable. This is definitely a place that I could totally "veg out" and relax in.

2: Though thoroughly renovated with high-end appointments, the Craftsman-style abode still offers old-world charm and original details throughout.

3: The home has a neutral color scheme. Like Curbed Seattle editor Kelly points out, neutral colors are in right now. I just adore the clean and fresh look it has, and could truly picture myself living here.

4: They didn't forget the facade. Many older properties have great interiors, but their exteriors are left unkept. The owner of this jewel fixed up the front yard and facade beautifully.

5: This home offers sweeping water views, which is a must have (for me, at least).
