Buy This Bauhaus-Style House Designed By John Quincy Adams

No, no, no. One of the founding fathers did not design this '50s spread in Boxborough, Mass., but a descendant of both presidents, also known as John Quincy Adams, did. The flat-roofed three bedroom has seen substantial modification since its construction—including the addition of stucco over the original cinder block and some questionable farmhouse-style touches in the bathroom. The nine-acre plot includes mature plantings, a swimming pool, and a stocked pond for fishing. Radiant heating was added and bamboo flooring laid down, but, despite the updates, the current owners are moving on. That is, if someone ponies up the $759K asking price. Over here for more photos.
