Hitler's Old Drinking Glasses Expected to Fetch Thousands

In this installment of adventures in tabletop items, tomorrow an English auction house will proffer four of Adolf Hilter's drinking glasses to the highest bidder in an auction expected to fetch up to $13,000. The glasses, which came from the collector who also owned Hitler's sword, feature a swastika, an eagle, and the the initials A.H. "It was well known that Hitler had a personal valet in his bunker, and that he dined alone most evenings, using only the finest silver and glassware," explained the auctioneer, adding, "We have to be tasteful in all we do and would not wish to upset anyone with the item."
